An extended thank you to all the volunteers that showed up to the volunteer party last thursday, to Vanessa, Janet and Cecily who came along to the party, to all those who brought a pot luck dish (sandwiches to beat the band), and to Triona Shoer for supplying the delicious Rainbow Cake.
I arrived late, somehow thinking it was to kick off at 7.30, when it had started around 7. Some of the youth group vols played tekken (seems to be popular), while others sat and chatted about loads of stuff and mainly the upcoming calender that we're doing for fundraising.
It was a great night, and a nice showing, again, thank you all.

RSS - UPDATE
It's no secret that all the community groups around Ireland are experiencing difficulty, and RSS is no different. At the moment we are looking at ways to raise funding as we are in a wee bit of a sticky situation.
We do realise that everyone is in the same boat and we're not asking people to fork out ridiculous ammounts of money, but we are asking you to try and support us when ever and in which ever way you can.
We are aware that everyone is organising fundraisers, and some are more deserving in your eyes than others, but we'd like you to think of us if you are donating money this year, and next. Please contact us if you are intrested in helping out, or donating anything the number is:
